What Is Masteron ?

Masteron has been a very rare product on the market for a very long time. Therefore it was not in the hands of casual sportsmen, but rather pro bodybuilders who are fond of it because of its rapid elimination in the body, and because that it does not produce estrogenic side effects.

Often counterfeit, very expensive, and very hard to find on the black market.
The deal has fortunately changed and Masteron is now much more easily accessible.
Originally, Masteron was made in Belgium by Syntex laboratories and comes in 2 ml ampoules containing 100 mg of product in the late 80s.
But Syntex has now stopped production years ago, which explains the previous difficulty to get Masteron.
Do not panic, many laboratories have jumped on the occasion and have launched the production, among them we find Thaiger Pharma, Meditech or MaxPro.
Maston is available in non-alkylated oral form, which makes it NOT toxic to your liver, or in injectable form as Propionate and Enanthate esters.

Characteristics ; 

Masteron is a derivative of DHT which makes it strongly androgenic.
Unlike the majority of steroids used in the medical field for weight gain, Masteron is not because this is just not part of its main qualities.
It is used in the fight against certain cancers and would help lower cholesterol levels.

This steroid provides the user with a very high rate of androgenic hormones in the body, so it provides a strong and durable musculature without water retention.
However, it does not bring an exceptional volume, that’s why an optimal use of Masteron will be in a fat loss period, the gain of dry mass by stacking it with the appropriate products: it will improve this way the the muscular intake quality.
It should be added that this product remains a very short time in the body which makes it a valuable ally for competitors.
Masteron does not aromatize and therefore is not concerned by any conversion to estrogen. Note that it’s also not toxic at all in its oral form for your liver because it is unalkylated.

Masteron does not cause water retention nor hypertension.
All these characteristics place Masteron as one of the steroids with the least side effects.

Let’s sup up as follows:

Also called propionic acid, propionate ester will slow the release of Drostanolone for only 2 to 3 days. This is called a short ester.
To allow blood levels to rise rapidly, Masteron Propionate compounds are usually injected every other day.

Effective dose (men): 200mgs / week (100mgs * every other day) to 400mgs / week
Effective dose (women): 25-50mgs every two to three days
Half-life: 2-3 days
The detection time: 3 weeks

Enanthate will provide a balanced level of the hormone for about 10 to 14 days.

It is what is called a long ester.
Although in the context of medicine Enanthate compounds are often injected monthly, for a use as part of a Masteron cycle, you will inject twice a week.

Effective dose (women): 100mgs / week

Detection time: up to 3 months

How to use Masteron ;

It is used during fat loss cycles, often stacked with other steroids with similar property such as Winstrol or Primobolan for example, to accentuate and optimize this effect.
In this way Masteron is effective to get a skinned and hard look.
It is good to know that if the Mastéron provides a dense musculature to the user, it does not reduce the retention of fat nor increases itself muscular Mass.
Your diet and your food supplements will be very important.
Masteron will improve muscle quality and mass gained during a mass gain cycle by combining it with other more anabolic products such as Testosterone, Parabolan, Boldenone ….

The dosages that should be used with Masteron are:

350-500mg per week (propionate version, injected every other day)
400-600mg per week (enanthate version, injected twice per week)

An example of an excellent cutting cycle for an advanced user would be: (6-10 weeks)

150mg Testosterone propionate every other day
50mg Trenbolone acetate every day (or 100mg every other day)
150mg Masteron (propionate) every other day
50mg Winstrol every day, last 4 weeks of cycle only
Of course with such an intermediate/advanced cycle, the user could also incorporate other medicines such as Clenbuterol, Ephedrine, T3, growth hormone, IGF, etc.
A more novice cutting cycle may consist of: (6-8 weeks)

100mg Testosterone propionate every other day
100mg Masteron (propionate) every other day

Side effects Masteron ; 

As discussed, Masteron possesses anti-estrogenic properties which results in the elimination of many of the unwanted side effects that AS users may experience, such as gynecomastia, water retention and dangerous increases in blood pressure.

Having said this, Masteron when initially produced pharmacologically, was seen by the FDA as a relatively safe medicine, even at high dosages. Dosages in excess of 150mg per day (that’s over 1000mg per week) were considered as safe limits by the FDA (bear in mind most other AAS used by athletes are used in levels that exceed FDA safe limits). This is good news to the user, however do not misinterpret this information as a reason to use excessive doses of Masteron as in reality anything above 600mg per week is not going to give any more benefit than 500-600mg per week would give, thus excessive use would be a waste of money and injections.
