For athletes and bodybuilders, it is a medicine used to combat the estrogenic side effects of anabolic steroids such as water retention, acne and gynecomastia. Testosterone levels are also elevated due to low estrogen in the body. Side effects of letrozole include a low sex desire and continued use can lead to low lipid function and an impaired immune system.

Side effects de Femara are flushing, heat or redness in the face or chest, headache, muscle or joint pain; night sweats, weight gain, fatigue, feeling weak; nausea, or swelling in your hands, ankles or feet.
