Nandrolone decanoate has been in the market for over 30 years in the form of Organon product, Deca Durabolin(Deca). Since then it is one of the most used AS for bulking-up. It has anabolic, androgenic, progestogenic and eryhropoietic effects. Nandrolone decanoate has been shown to influence calcium metabolism positively and to increase bone mass in osteoporosis.

While it has the anabolic activity of testosterone, androgenic effect is remarkably diminished as long as the dose taken are kept within reasonable range. The anabolic/androgenic quotient after 2 weeks of treatment has been shown to be 12 times that obtained with testosterone decanoate.

When it comes to adverse effects, Nandrolone Decanoate’s side effects include hypertension, acne, and sexual problems. The occurrence of side-effects more  common  in  females  and  it is  affected  strongly  by  the  dosage taken.  The most  common adverse effects are facial hair growth, deepening of the voice and clitoral enlargement.

Besides, It should also be noted that Nandrolone Decanoate is effective in easing joint and tendon pains. Therefore using it together with other steroids such as Wistrol considered effective because of its healing ability. Due to such beneficial effects it became one of the most commonly used steroids among bodybuilders and athletes.
