Anastrozole is considered to be an effective drug for those male bodybuilders who use steroid in their cycles due to its ability to combat excess estrogen level. Almost all of anabolic steroids has an effects on estrogen level of the body. Increased estrogen level makes it possible to be faced with gynecomastia which leads to breast enlargement in males. At this point, Anastrozole blocks the estrogen receptors. In other words, it will limit the gynecomostia concern as a side effect of anabolic steroids.
