This is an oral 17a alkylated steroid, highly androgenic as well as highly anabolic. The alkylation allows most of the product to join the bloodstream.

Administration
Taking an oral steroid with food decreases its bioavailability.
This is due to the lipid-soluble nature of steroids. Indeed, some of the product dissolves with undigested fat, reducing its absorption. This is why it is better to take oral AAS on an empty stomach.
The dose is usually divided in three intakes per day.
Superb results can be obtained with the average dose of 50 to 200 mg daily. However, results begin to decline after 2 weeks. However, you should not use Anadrol longer than four week, knowing that liver stress then becomes an issue. It’s then time to replacing it with another high anabolic compound such as Deca Durabolin for example.

Hepatotoxicity
C17-a alkylated steroids are hepatotoxic due to the alkylation protecting their first transit through the liver. Oxymetholone will induce an increase in SGPT and SGOT enzymes which indicate a liver stress. Rise in biliburin in the liver can induce yellowing of the eyes and finger nails. Gamma -GT is also increased by Oxymetholone.
The addition of a liver detoxification supplement such as Liv-52, Essentiale Forte or Desmodium is very well advised while taking any hepatotoxic steroids.
